What is JSON-LD schema on WordPress?

A small JSON script you add to the page head so search engines understand your content - an Article, Product, FAQ, Event and so on. This tool generates the markup and tells you how to add it in WordPress.

Does Gutenberg output schema automatically?

Not really. Gutenberg has no built-in JSON-LD generator. Most people use an SEO plugin (Rank Math, Yoast, SEO Press) which auto-adds schema for Articles, Products (via WooCommerce) and Breadcrumbs, or a dedicated schema plugin - and hand-add the rest.

Do I still get rich results from FAQ schema?

Google restricted FAQ rich results to authoritative government and health sites in 2023, so it is low-value for most blogs now - though the structured data itself is still harvested and can help entity clarity.
