What is a cron expression?

A cron expression is 5 numbers that say when a job runs, in this order: minute, hour, day-of-month, month, day-of-week. Pick a value for each field below (or leave it on * = every), and the tool reads your schedule back in plain English - no cron knowledge needed.

What is a cron expression?

A 5-field schedule telling the system when to run a job - minute, hour, day of month, month, day of week. This tool builds one visually and reads it back in plain English.

How does WP-Cron differ from host cron?

WP-Cron is not a daemon - it fires on page loads, so schedules drift on quiet sites. The reliable fix is a host-level cron job hitting wp-cron.php, plus define( 'DISABLE_WP_CRON', true ) in wp-config.php.

Is the next-run simulator accurate?

It follows standard cron semantics including the day-of-month OR day-of-week rule, and labels runs in your device timezone - but cron uses the server timezone, so check that.
